first tuesday - EAFT

Five 3-hour courses are the only educational requirements you'll need for the first four-year renewal of your sales agent license.

Take the final exam online or on paper. If taken online, you'll get your exam results immediately and you can print out your test results whenever you want according to your schedule.

All first tuesday courses are approved by the DRE. Sponsor #0473.

The content of first tuesday's courses is the most thoroughly researched and current material available. All of our reading materials are written entirely by our in-house staff of researchers, writers and editors. The reading material for every course is "California-specific," intended solely for California real estate licensees.

Is this all I have to take?

If you're a sales agent renewing your license for the very first time, yes. If you're a broker, no. Brokers need 45 hours of continuing education and should click here for our 45-hour packages.

Is the course available online?

Yes, and also the final exam is available online.

I waited until the last minute to do this, can I take my final the same day I enroll in the course?

No. The minimum enrollment time for this course is three days as established by the Department of Real Estate.

Can I take the final exam online?

Yes! When you enroll online, the email you receive confirming your online order will have your password for access to take the final exam.

If I don't order online, can I still take the final exam online?

Yes! Enroll in our course by mail or phone. When you're ready to take the final exam, give our office a call and provide us with your email address and we'll send you a confirmation email with your password for access to the final exam. Or, email us with your request at requests@firsttuesday.us. Our office can be reached at 800.794.0494.

I don't have computer access, how do I take the final exam?

Simple. We'll send the final exam to a Test Administrator of your choice. You and the Test Administrator arrange a convenient time for you to take the exam. Once you've completed the final exam, fax us a copy of the answer sheet and the front page of the exam booklet for faster processing before mailing in the exam booklet. After we grade the exam we'll send the exam results directly to you.

Who can be the Test Administrator?

The Test Administrator can be anyone except for a relative (by blood or marriage) or co-worker (your broker, other agents in your office, etc.). Keep in mind, the Test Administrator does not have to be a real estate licensee.

Can you send the final exam to me?

No. The Department of Real Estate requires the final exam to be completed under the supervision of a Test Administrator. Final exams cannot be mailed or faxed to the student.
